Four Pro Novice trials over 2 days.  The course will change for each trial.  Commercial flock of Targhee sheep.  Same flock as last year.  They were fair and fabulous. 

 

There will be one Nursery trial each day running concurrent with a Pro Novice trial. 

 

Outruns to around 285 yards, drives upwards of 300 yards.  All challenging but completely within the scope of a young up and comer.

Handlers meetings will start at 7:00 am each morning, with the first dog to the post as soon as the sun allows.

 

Handlers dinner is in the house on Saturday night; if you have a guest with you who isn't running in the trial or have dietary restrictions, please let us know ahead of time. Dinner will be provided. Please bring your own beverage and some people will need to bring chairs.

Location

• Field address is 14606 S Murphy Road, Cheney, WA 99004. Be aware that GPS will take you to our neighbors, so please follow signage and double check the mailbox # if you are unsure.

• Arrival: Our property will be open from noon, Wednesday, October 9 - noon through Tuesday, October 22.

• Please stay on the main gravel driveway coming up the property. Follow signage out to the camping/parking area. Camping area will be marked off with PVC posts.

• Drive SLOW - there may be loose animals as you head up the driveway or sheep out grazing. And an OLD siamese cat who we will try to keep inside, but he no longer moves for vehicles.
